Although a rushed, low budget job by Violent Femmes standards, Corpses of Foreign Wars remains one of my most lavishly produced recording projects, a rare chance to work with 2 inch tape in 16 track. Coming up with material was no problem since the general subject was American imperialism dashed with the odd citizens’ misbehavior to spice things up. I have kept the title in print since its first productions in vinyl and compact disc by Fundamental/Play it Again Sam.
