HORROR PART ELEVEN
The 11th volume in the Horror series started with a live duet performance. I joined Greensboro instrument inventor and builder Mark Dixon at an installation he created on the site of what was then the Crunchy Music Shop on Tate Street. Orchestration was later added using multiple turntable mixdowns. The most horrifying thing about the production is the cover photo of Lizzie Chadbourne looking like she is being molested by a robot, aligning this volume with the many so-called horror films in circulation in which the frightening thing is the poster.
