Lets Get Weird But Comfortable
In the fall of 2017 I assembled a group for a one-time performance event at the Lily Pad in Boston, although there was a warm-up days before at Jorrit Dykstra’s house party. I hired long=time associate Charles ‘Chuck U’ Rosina to do a live 4-track reel to reel recording and this CD is the result, a repertoire of jazz and country combined from the varied tastes of the players—Dykstra on saxophones and elecfronics, Jeb Bishop on trombone, Nate McBride on bass and Curt Newton on drums.
