THE MUSIC OF MY YOUTH MEGAPACK!

Here is a special value bonanza load of rocking out, small band collaborations, music on the beach, country and western, the youthful side of Chadbourne on a variety of levels: the title “Music of my Youth” evolved out of a request from several French festivals for “project title”, also what passes for an attempt at marketing in this kind of musical endeavor, promoters were reluctant about using the group name I was putting: the DOC CHAD CONTEMPORARY ROCK BAND. Both solo and in duo and larger formations with the drummer Schroeder, we were getting into a great variety of venues, from the so-called “no audience” avant garde to crowded Italian beach resorts, raving farmhouses to (fairly) quiet social clubs for new immigrants.  A repertoire developed in which songs and themes were plucked out many eras, my youth….before…after….With directions changing and gigs at a temporary standstill, chances are this series is finished. The mega pack adds an earlier production that relate strongly to the theme Music of my Youth, Young and Innocent Days frp, Louisville, originally released on vinyl by the Swamp Room label.
