Just in time for the upcoming ERIC DOLPHY: FREEDOM OF SOUND event in New York City, here is a carefully assembled collection of my interpretations of Eric Dolphy compositions as well as both a band and solo version of my heavily Dolphy-influenced tune The Shreeve. With Dolphy perpetually creeping up in my repertoire, it is no surprise the collection includes performances by bands from different eras including Twins, The Jack and Jim Show (With the Artist Formerly Known as Black Paddy) and Camper Van Chadbourne with the brilliant Austrian soprano saxophonist Walter Malli.
