The English Channel was composed during a European tour in the late ‘70s, designed for an orchestra of improvisers around a dozen and a half strong, workshopped with students and faculty at the Creative Music Studio in Woodstock, NY, and then finally performed and recorded with a great line up of international performers. Material from the original LP was used in whole, reedited along with additional material to create the full length CD that has been part of my catalog archive for decades.
