Originating from a four track porta-studio recording made at the Niteshade Cafe by an enthusiastic punter, this gig recording captures a great night by a trio variant on Shockabilly that would practice long and hard at David Licht’s digs on Holden Road. The difference was no Kramer, instead Shep the Hep (the late Tom Shephard on homemade electric bass and personally designed and constructed electronics) and a set list that was broader in genre base than a Shockabilly show. Guitar is the dynamic sounding Jim Burns blondie fated to be ripped off in the Big Apple. My favorite guitar!
